What if I say I'm not like the others? What if I say I'm not just another one of your plays? You're the pretender Kouki Lithgow Twenty-One · Male · Ex-Flare · Pokemon Breeder Hair: Most likely the guy's most distinct trait is his hair; burning, blaze red, deeper than even a Tamato Berry. Light is reflected off it in a brighter color, making it look soft. And unexpectedly, for a street thief, Kouki has quite the silky, well-cared for hair. It reaches his cheeks in length. Eyes: Emerald green, appearing tired or suspecting almost all the time, yet while at it, almost sharp as a preying Pidgeot's glare. His curved eyebrows only add further to an intimidating look that people will stay away from. But, if looked at for enough time, one can notice how insecure around people Kouki really is, through the slight trembling of his rather large irises. Not that he'd admit it though. Face: Where to begin. Kouki's face is pretty average in shape, but no marks are seen over his face at all - no scars, no pimples or bruises, nothing at all. Silk-like, pale skin, augmenting his intensively red hair, filling his body and as such, when he's embarrassed or angered, it would be really easy to tell. His ears are just average in size, and his skin is slightly pointy. His forehead is hidden beneath the fringe of his hair, and nose trail is rather dominant. Almost all the time, Kouki can be seen with the nice accessory of a cigarette in between his barely darker lips. Body: Standing at 6 foot and weighing 178 lbs, Kouki's overall appearance has a strong dominant look to him. His height and build allows him to look at people with (false) confidence, and his tone and weight are there to support such. From running around so much as a kid and staying physically active even in the later years as a criminal, Kouki's body takes a semi-athletic tone, muscle perhaps not bulging, but definitely noticed when top is taken off. He has broad shoulders and back, but thin fingers, supporting physical strength and skill as a thief. He's surprisingly clean for a man, showing no bodily hair whatsoever, and the same follows with facial hair (as much as he wants a goatee, it appears to be genetically impossible). He is of medium frame, if anyone actually found themselves wondering. His legs hide well his quick speed and flexibility, matching the same tone as the rest of his body and lacking in the hairy aspect as well. It's almost like Kouki was born to be a thief on the run. Clothing: They say 'clothes make the man'. That saying, with his personality, doesn't suit Kouki at all, as he's usually found with two prominent outfits; either a respected double-breasted suit, open to reveal his undershirt which is unbuttoned just above his chest level, with a loose tie or bowtie, any accessory really -- or, short-sleeved shirts and elongated trousers of rather laid-back patterns or colors, the kinds farmers or punks would show. Luring him or tempting him with candy works like a charm. Just like a little kid. Unlike what you'd expect, he doesn't fear people. He just doesn't know how to approach them, that's all. This is most prominently seen with girls. He takes great liking to Fire-type Pokemon, typically to someone with a blazing hair and Team Flare background. Kouki strives to one day make many friends and become a key figure in the world; like a movie star, a renowned patissier, or even an Elite Breeder. Kouki is a flawless thief, lock-breaker and pickpocket. Watch out for your stuff. personality Kouki's story would be pretty different from what you'd expect. Because, let's be honest, there's only so much a guy could go through, right? Born in the gigantic city of Lumiose in the Kalos region, under the name Abel Tanaka, his life as a kid were - to say the least - harsh. He was born to a poor woman with no idea who the father was, out of several nights in Casinos and Cafes to late hours. With barely home, food and water, Abel was subject to rather unpleasant sights at an incredibly young age, hanging out in the slums, in the alleyways around the city, around other people like him. He became nothing more than just a street thief, stealing from random passerby victims and preying on weaker Pokemon's food. All to survive, and to help his mother live properly. This punk-like, lone lifestyle, and adept talent with working with punks and rowdy Pokemon perhaps earned Abel quite the skill for further in life, but never did he actually build up social abilities. He never really found out how to properly converse with people, or how to bond, besides actually caring, for a single person in his life too. His life changed when he was nine years old, and found himself preying on a fancy-looking man in a very flashy red suit with an odd fire emblem on the back. He ran away after stealing the person's (very full) wallet, but soon ran into others of the same outfit. As much as his knowledge of Lumiose's alleys served him in the past, these guys were too many, and eventually caught the punk, beating him up and leaving him down. Ironically enough, however, before knocked out completely, Abel managed to snatch their savings pretty well, and used them hurriedly so they would not find out they were scammed twice. He supported his mother in an economic aspect and with his help, they finally settled down in a proper place, his mother finding a decent job that should have been enough for just a woman and her child. But old habits die hard, and Abel continued to be the pickpocket thief he was. It also didn't take too long for the guys to realize they had their properties stolen, and soon Abel was tracked down - by one of the admins too. To his judgement, the boy could have served their organization well, and he was taken in, as a prisoner at first, and as a full-time member later. He came to learn that the organization was called Team Flare, and he grew up in it as a part of the Grunts Force, learning a lot about the actual underworld and how to utilize Pokemon. His lack of social skills prevented him from becoming anything more than a grunt, but his magnificent work with his hands more than proved him an individual in the team. His best work was, ironically, stealing from the leader himself. But it wasn't the lifestyle Abel really wanted, being stressed out his entire life. After a rather grand achievement to oppose the team, Abel escaped and dispatched the team, leaving no traces of the redheaded male. He ran away far, so far that he reached the Sinidad Region, telling his mother they could live better in that place, with a fresh new start, without all the reputation built up in Kalos. And it really did work: assuming new names, Abel Tanaka turned into Kouki Lithgow. His mother worked part-time at a restaurant and soon started learning how to become a researcher, and Kouki finally attended school, if only for a few years. He already had unexpected knowledge gained from his time as a reliable Team Flare member, which bumped his levels up in the ranks, until he graduated at a shocking period of merely three years. Now twenty one, Kouki Lithgow tries to live normal life as a breeder. But, his past experience and lack of social abilities, will always hunt him. Talk about tough luck.
